War and Pieces Act 2
Requirements: must be an Exalt
(X) Respite: exhaust this gift to activate the unique ability for your class for the next 3 turns. Once it is no longer active, if you would become Dying, negate that status and refresh Anima Banner instead. This cannot be activated if you are Afraid or Unconscious.
Orichalcum: the Exalt is illuminated by lightning, humming with power and sending a potent shock through anyone and anything they touch. When the character attacks, if the attack is successful, the target must roll against a second damage effect of +1 weak, penetrating.
Moonsilver: the Exalt moves with fluid speed, a blur of motion hard to track with mere eyesight. Gain an extra action every turn, but this action is lost if the character is reeling at the start of their turn. Normal restrictions on same-type actions still applies.
Jade: the Exalt’s body is infused with the crystalline resilience of their material, making them harder to damage. The character gains the Diehard gift. If they already possess it, the benefits stack.
Starmetal: the Exalt’s mastery of tactics and planning allows them to see potential futures a few seconds in advance, giving them incredible reflexes and foresight. The character is automatically aiming or guarding on their turn (but not both unless they take the usual action).
Soulsteel: the Exalt’s body calls up the tormented souls trapped in their metal forms, terrifying those foolish enough to stand against them. Any time the Exalt would cause a target to become Reeling, they become Afraid as well. Characters immune to fear are still treated as though they were afraid for one round, after which they become immune to the affect for the duration of this activation.
